Equine Study
HMP™ partnered with Tarleton State University to study the effects of full-spectrum oil on stress reduction in horses, particularly during transportation. The research found that higher doses of oil (0.6 mg/kg body weight) were more effective than lower doses (0.3 mg/kg), leading to decreased cortisol levels and reduced stress-related behaviors such as pawing and vocalization.
Dog Study
HMP™ collaborated with Colorado State University to conduct a 90-day clinical trial assessing the efficacy of their full-spectrum oil in dogs suffering from osteoarthritis. The study involved 32 dogs and found that 94% experienced reduced pain and improved mobility, with 43.5% of those on gabapentin able to discontinue its use entirely after introducing the oil .
